We've compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions about MynaParrot BBB services, so take a look and hopefully this article will clear up any confusion.

 

1. Can I run two or more rooms at once?

Yes, we do not have a cap on the number of rooms. The only thing we look at is the number of concurrent users on your account. You may have as many rooms as you wish, as long as the number of concurrent users is not exceeded.

You must send the value of "maxParticipants" with the create API call when creating the room. It is critical to our system. Based on that value, our system will reserve the server's slot.

If you do not specify a value for "maxParticipants" during the create API call, our system will use 30 as the default.

For example, if you have 100 concurrent users with us, and you have one meeting running but did not configure the "maxParticipants" numbers, we will reserve 30 seats for this session while leaving 70 open for other meetings.

 

2. What does concurrent user mean?

Concurrent user refers to all online users who are using BBB sessions under your account at the same time. For example, if you have 50 concurrent users planned, and you have 5 rooms running at the same time, the total number of users in all rooms must be less than 50.

3. What does rebranding mean?

Rebranding means if you order 200 concurrent users’ plans or above, then we can give you a totally customized set up. Like your classroom URL will be classroom1.yourdomainname.com

Also, the welcome message and PDF can be changed to your branding.

 

4. Can I integrate this with my own LMS system or website?

Yes, we are working friendly with Moodle , Chamilo , WordPress, Joomla. We have a fully ready API, and can be configured to integrate with any system.

 

5. What can I do if your current subscription plan doesn’t meet my requirements?

6. Can I have all the user's cameras open?

Yes, we don’t limit webcams, and all of our plans support all concurrent users who are joining can use the camera. But the only limitation will be your bandwidth. If you or your users don’t have enough bandwidth then you’ll face problems with webcams.

Also in a shared package, you may face problems with bandwidth too. From the Ultra-2 package, all the clients will get a separate dedicated server. So performance will be better for them.

However, it’s recommended to enable the camera from moderator/teacher & disable for students/attendees to save bandwidth. The teacher/moderator has the ability to lock webcams.

 

7. How can I get the MP4 export file of my recording?

When the recording process will be over that time you’ll receive an email notification. After that, you’ll need to visit your panel to start processing MP4. You can simply click on the record button from the meeting name & it will open a new tab. Now click on “Start Process” under “MP4 status”. Once the process will complete, you’ll get another email notification to download MP4 files. Remember, MP4 files will be deleted after 7 days automatically but your meeting’s recording will remain as long as you won’t delete. Kindly note that we don't allow to generate MP4 more than one time.

Note: If the recording's length too long like more than 30 minutes or 1 hour, you may receive a file in WebM format but that file will play from any devices or players without any problem. Later you can convert it to MP4 if you really require it but most of the time don't require it. We are doing so to save time & deliver you the file soon.

 

8. What do you mean each package plan have unlimited students but have concurrent users capacity limits? 

Unlimited students/users mean you can have unlimited users to use this system at different times. But there is a limit for online users at the same time. 

For example, you have 50 concurrent users. then you can have 50 users join your meeting from 9 am to 10 am, then another 50 users to join from 10 am-11 am, then another 50 users with another hour. It can be unlimited. But online at the same time, maximumly 50.
